Composition
Active ingredient: 1 tablet contains: 1 mg boldine and 4 mg anthranoids, calculated as aloin, as well as excipients: potato starch, sucrose, gum arabic, glycerin, talc, magnesium stearate.
Indications
Digestive disorders (feeling of fullness) Disorders of bile and gastric juice secretion Constipation Mild cramp-like gastrointestinal disorders.
Effect
The medicine has an antispasmodic effect, stimulates bile and gastric juice secretion. The anthraglycoside compounds contained in the preparation stimulate the peristalsis of the large intestine and have a mild laxative effect.
Dosage
As a choleretic and gastric juice stimulating preparation – adults: 1 tablet orally 3 times daily, children over 12 years and elderly: 1 to 2 tablets daily. As a mild laxative: 1 to 3 tablets at once, in the evening. Do not use for longer than 7 to 10 days.
Contraindications
The preparation must not be used in: hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients; liver cirrhosis; obstruction of the bile ducts and digestive tract; acute and chronic inflammation of the stomach and intestines; active gastric ulcer disease and duodenal ulcer disease; abdominal pain of unknown origin; renal insufficiency. Consult a doctor before using the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
