Composition
Active ingredient: 1 drachm of 600 mg contains the active ingredients: Raphani sat. nigri extr. sicc. cum Carbo medicinalis (1:1) 150.0 mg, Cynarae herbae extr. spissum 47.0 mg, Menthae pip. oleum 15.0 mg. Excipients: potato starch, sucrose, gelatin, Aerosil, magnesium stearate, talc, gum arabic, calcium hydrogen phosphate, medicinal charcoal.
Indications
The medicine is used for gallbladder atony, digestive disorders (especially biliary dyskinesia, flatulence, constipation), as a supportive treatment for inflammation of the bile ducts and gallbladder. In cases of cholelithiasis, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.
Effect
Raphacholin C is a cholepoietic and choleretic medicine (acts directly on the liver and stimulates bile secretion). Its composition includes dry extract of black radish with medicinal charcoal, dry extract of artichoke, dehydrocholic acid, and mint oil. Regular intake of the preparation stimulates bile secretion, which has a protective effect on the liver parenchyma, accelerates the elimination of harmful substances with bile, and promotes the peristaltic movements of the intestines. Raphacholin C is used for digestive disorders and complaints (nausea, abdominal pain, belching, flatulence, constipation) mainly caused by disturbances in the contractile function of the bile ducts. In consultation with a doctor, the preparation is used as an aid in chronic inflammation of the bile ducts.
Dosage
Adults: 1 to 2 drachms 3 times daily after meals. For constipation: 2 drachms in the morning and evening, 1/2 hour before meals. In justified cases, children over 12 years: 1 drachm 3 times daily after meals.
Contraindications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medicine, severe liver diseases, biliary and gastrointestinal obstruction, acute and chronic inflammation of the stomach and intestines.
The safety of the medicine has not been studied in pregnant and breastfeeding women, therefore it is not recommended to use the preparation without consulting a doctor.
