Mode of Action
Aescin has decongestant and anti-inflammatory effects and improves vascular tone. It reduces the permeability of blood vessel walls. It is effective in the treatment of postoperative and post-traumatic edema. Aescin accelerates the resorption of post-traumatic hematomas and reduces the risk of their occurrence in the postoperative phase (especially after procedures on the musculoskeletal system). By sealing the endothelium of blood vessels, it also improves venous and lymphatic circulation. The medicine is also used for the prevention of thrombophlebitis in the postoperative phase and for the treatment of venous diseases of the extremities as well as varicose veins in the legs. If there is no improvement or if the patient's condition worsens, please contact your doctor.
