Esceven is a medication for the treatment of symptoms of venous insufficiency such as swelling, pain and heaviness in the legs, varicose veins, and calf cramps. Esceven film-coated tablets contain horse chestnut dry extract with the active ingredient aescin, which increases venous tone. The product is intended for adults and children from 12 years of age.
Composition
The active ingredient is horse chestnut dry extract (Aesculus hippocastanum L., seeds) in a ratio of 5-9:1. Each tablet contains 167 mg horse chestnut dry extract (Aesculus hippocastanum L., seeds) in a ratio of 5-9:1. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethylcellulose type C, magnesium stearate, povidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, Opadry II. Green coating: polyvinyl alcohol, macrogol 4000, talc, yellow iron oxide (E172), titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), aluminum lake, brilliant blue FCF (E133), aluminum lake.
Dosage

This medicine is taken orally. The dosage of Esceven for adults and children over 12 years is 1 film-coated tablet 3 times daily after meals.
